This policy explains what personal data ZAQÉRIN collects when you use our website, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, how long we keep it, who helps us process it, and the choices and rights you have.

We have written it to describe what our website actually does. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, ZAQÉRIN is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here, and you are the Data Principal.

2.Scope

This policy covers the ZAQÉRIN website: browsing and searching the collection, your account, orders and checkout, product authenticity checks by QR code, reviews, the community, referrals, customer support, and the emails we send.

It does not cover other websites we link to. Our payment provider handles your payment details under its own privacy policy, as described in Payments below.

We only collect what the features you use need. We do not ask for your date of birth, government identity numbers or precise location.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising on other websites.

11.Cookies and similar technologies

We use only what the website needs to work, or what keeps something you asked for. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and nothing on our website tracks you across other websites. That is why there is no cookie banner: nothing is set for analytics, advertising or tracking.

Our fonts are served from our own website, so loading a page does not send your details to a font provider.

16.How to make a privacy request

Some choices you can make yourself, straight away:

Correct your name and email address: Account → Personal Information. Your bio and profile picture: Account → Profile. Your community display name and username: Account → Community.
Add, correct or remove delivery addresses: Account → Addresses.
Change your password, sign out of other devices and see recent activity on your account: Account → Security.
Allow or withdraw a community post from the Customer Spotlight: Account → Community.
Change which optional emails you receive, and see every choice you have made: Account → Privacy & Data → Consent & Preferences, or the unsubscribe link in any optional email.
Delete a review or community post: Account → Reviews or Account → Community.
Delete your account: Account → Privacy & Data → Delete Account. You confirm your password and tick a final confirmation. If an order is still on its way, the deletion waits until it has been delivered, and you can cancel it until then.
Get a copy of your personal data: Account → Privacy & Data → My Data. You confirm your password, we prepare the copy as a ZIP of readable files and email you when it is ready, and you download it while signed in. It is deleted after 7 days.

When you delete your account, you are signed out everywhere and can no longer sign in. We delete your profile, password, saved addresses, wishlist and cart, email preferences, community profile with its posts and comments, sign-in history, the log of emails we sent you, closed support conversations, orders that were never paid, and the photos and videos you uploaded. We keep your paid orders for accounting and tax (without your phone number or gift messages), open support requests until we have answered, the reviews you wrote shown as “Former customer” without your name or photos, and the record of your consent choices and of the request, no longer linked to you. We email you once to confirm what was deleted and what was kept. Our payment provider and email provider keep their own records under their policies; deleting your account with us does not delete those.

For everything else — orders or support requests made without signing in, correcting an order's details, or nominating someone — write to our privacy contact below from the email address on your account and tell us what you would like. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting, so that nobody else can obtain or delete your data.
